While this really depends on the individual, there can be anything from a mild adjustment period to some more serious confusion. After years of typing on standard keyboards, the familiar naturally becomes more familiar, and the unfamiliar can feel truly alien. However, if you are genuinely passionate about a new layout, I’ve often found that the transitional period is well worth the end result of using something that you really enjoy. It might suck for a bit, but don’t let that stop you!
