On May 15, 2025, he unveiled an AI startup, ASILAB, and in a similarly polished launch video, declared his team had engineered a "synthetic equivalent" to the human brain. Its inaugural product, ASINOID, Lehtimäki described as a "dynamic, self-evolving entity designed to expand in capability and awareness." The company promised to grant access to ASINOID, but I found no proof that such access was ever provided. ASILAB did not reply to our inquiry for comment.
